For the last 18 years, La Pasadita — a 2nd-generation BBQ team — has been throwing a “party with a purpose” since 1990 at the Rodeo Austin BBQ Cook-Off. With the help of sponsors and tipping partygoers, our team has donated almost half a million dollars to the Star of Texas Scholarship Fund! Those who have visited our tent in the past know that we always have a great time! We provide great BBQ, cold beer and get-ya-groovin’ live music — you just bring you, your friends and some cash for our tip jars! More tips = more Texas kids going to college.
